Chapter 11 - Served on Live Camera

Linda tried to reach out and end the livestream, but her panicked hand missed the button, knocking the phone onto its side so the camera pointed straight at the entryway.
The motel door swung open.
A tall man in a navy suit holding a thick manila envelope stepped inside, flanked by a uniform deputy sheriff.
"Linda Miller?" the process server announced loudly.
"This is a private room! Get out!" Linda shrieked, backing away toward the bed.
"You have been officially served with Summons and Complaint for Civil Fraud, Embezzlement, and Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress under Case #8821," the server stated clearly, dropping the heavy envelope right onto her vanity desk beside her makeup brushes.
The camera caught every single detail. The legal seal, the red emergency tags, and Linda’s terrified, pale face as she realized her private humiliation was being broadcast live to nearly 1,000 local viewers.
"Also," the deputy sheriff added, stepping forward, "we have an immediate temporary restraining order issued by Judge Harrison. You are forbidden from coming within 500 feet of Sarah Vance or Ethan Miller, effective immediately."
The comment section on the livestream blew up into absolute chaos:
"OH MY GOD SHE WAS LYING!"
"CIVIL FRAUD?!"
"She stole money from Sarah?!"
"Someone screenshot this right now!!!"

Before Ryan could jump out of the bathroom to stop it, the process server looked directly at the phone tripod on the desk, smiled at the camera, and clicked the livestream off.
The broadcast was over. But the clip was saved, downloaded, and went completely viral across local community pages within thirty minutes.
